"Owwww..."

Today we tried to take pictures with my nephews. The boys' pictures turned out super cute. Kaitlyn, my 1 year old, wanted NOTHING to do with the photographer. We talked, cuddled, bribed, walked around with, tickled, teased...she would not even put her feet on the backdrop. She kept whining "owwww...owwww" to get out of it. LOL! Guess what....it worked!!
We only got pictures of the three boys, which were extremely cute!

As far as food goes, it was another good clean day for the most part. I was really tired, so I resorted to a Deceptively Delicious recipe that was not completely clean....cheeeeeese! It was lowfat ceese, though.

Breakfast
Smoothie - Skim Milk, Ice, Strawberries, Banana, Chocolate Whey Protein.
I wanted to add flax or oatmeal, but I forgot in the morning rush.
Lunch
Brown Rice Veggie Sushi
There was a lot of veggies, but I could have probably ate half the rolls and added a serving or two of fruit. I also don't know how clean soy sauce or wasabi are. Anyone know??

Dinner
Broiled Rosemary Chicken (too dry)
Steamed Green Beans with Coarse Sea Salt
DD Macaroni & Cheese with Whole Wheat & Flax Noodles and Orange Cauliflower Puree
Raspberry/Lime Water
I ate too too much cheese while I was making dinner!!

Snack
1/2 c Leftover Pineapple Rice

David is going fishing for the weekend, so tomorrow I will be trying clean goat cheese pizza. Is that possible?? Hope so! The kids will be having Chicken Bites & Sweet Potato Fries for dinner.

First Day

Today was my first real day of clean eating!

I did pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Breakfast

-Natural Nut Granola

- 1/2 Handful Dried Cranberries

- Skim Milk

- Banana

This was really tasty and kept me pretty full until snack time.

Lunch

- Homemade Tatziki Dip (Thick)

- 2 Rye Crisps

- Raspberries

Lunch was small, but yummy! The tatziki was made with cucumber, mint & yogurt. I like it really thick with more cucumber than yogurt. The fresh raspberries were yum!!

Dinner

- Pineapple Lime Brown Rice with Scallions

- Broiled Tilapia

- Steamed Broccoli with Lime

(Bad picture...sorry!)

Everything was really fresh tasting and full of flavor. My 4 year old,Ryan, cleaned his plate, asked for more and said it was the best dinner I've ever made! Wow!

I have almost half a pineapple left, so I'm sure we'll pack that for lunch tomorrow. With what else? I have no idea, yet!
